The Glen Ellyn Kiwanis Club is again sponsoring its annual Vidalia Sweet Onion Sale to benefit local community needs!

These very special, world-famous sweet onions -- available only for a few weeks every spring -- add a special delight to everything from soups and salads to 'burgers, sandwiches and deep-fried onion rings.

Again this year, the price of a ten-pound bag of these wonderful onions is only $10!

• To order your onions, please print out and complete our order form and mail it to us with your check -- payable to Glen Ellyn Kiwanis Foundation -- to arrive no later than Friday, April 26.

• Pickup is scheduled for Friday May 7 (noon-5pm) and Saturday, May 8 (8am-1pm) at the First United Methodist Church (corner of Forest and Duane [map]). Please mark your calendar! This is the same day and place as our annual "all you can eat" Pancake Day. We'll mail you a reminder a week or so before the pickup date.

We really appreciate your support of this important fundraising activity; as always, all proceeds stay in the Village and support local charitable institutions and scholarships. Thank you!
