Many people recognize service clubs by their fundraisers, i.e.: Rotary (Citrus Fruit), Lions (Life Savers or Spaghetti Dinners), Kiwanis (Peanuts, Pancakes, Onions, and Entertainment Books)...

That's right -- We're the Peanut, Pancake, Onion, and Entertainment Book bunch!

• The members of the Kiwanis Club of Glen Ellyn are your neighbors... local business people... and others interested in Glen Ellyn and its environs.
• Recent years brought many cheers, smiles and thanks from volunteers and community recipients alike!
• The best part of all this is -- we have fun while contributing positively to our community!

We meet every Wednesday evening at 6:30 at Danby's Station Cafe. (750 Roosevelt Road [MAP].) Each week brings its own highlights as we enjoy each other's company, carry on the business of the club, and are treated to a topical program. The weekly presentations are varied, and often feature the lives and activities of our own members.

One night a month is set aside for a Business & Board meeting. It is then that, as a club, we discuss and evaluate projects and community needs. Each committee is responsible for bringing forth recommendations to the board for investing the club's time and money in community support.

We'd like you to be our guest at our next meeting! Please join us for dinner and fellowship... with our compliments.

Meetings begin at 6:30pm, with a half-hour informal gathering before the 7pm meal. Most meetings feature a speaker or other entertainment. Meetings usually adjourn around 8:30pm-9pm.
